Last season third place finishers and promotion favorites Migori Youth quitted the winless club after edging out Darajani Gogo 1-0

Clinton Okoth's header deep into the first half did the trick for the border club easing pressure on newly appointed gaffer Peter Okidi.

Mara Sugar, Naivas fairytale continue

Francis Xavier and his Mara Sugar side have been significantly better since the start of the season, going unbeaten and securing crucial victories against tough opponents as they charge towards FKF Premier League promotion.

And it was this newfangled winning mentality that helped the Millers see off Silibwet Leons who have endured a tough time failing to win any match this term and sit deep into relegation zone.

Darajani Gogo cameraman was attacked in Migori and had the play halted for ten minutes as the home team strongly repudiated streaming of their game.
