Muhoroni host KCB as Bidco face Bandari at Kasarani Annex

Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) returns on Monday with two games on the card after taking a short break on Sunday to pave way for the amazing Rising Starlets clash with Angola in FIFA Women's World Cup Under 20s qualifiers.

Muhoroni Youth will play host to Kenya Commercial Bank Football Club (KCB FC) in Muhoroni while out of form Bidco take on Bandari in corporation Derby at Kasarani Annex.

Thirteenth placed Muhoroni will try to overwrite their four-game losing streak following defeat to Tusker and stalemates to Nairobi City Stars, AFC Leopards and Nzoia Sugar.

The bankers head into the match beaming with confidence thanks to their incredible head to head record that has seen the Bernard Mwalala instructed side remain unbeaten in nine games against the Got Alila club.

Under the tutelage of Charles Odera, Muhoroni have proved shaky in defense, with the former Top 8 champions going 10 matches without a clean sheet in this fixture.

Muhoroni last victory over the bankers dates back to July 2017 in the Shield Cup.

Speaking to the press after the club's training sessions at Cheptenye High School, Kericho, KCB tactician admitted that the game will not be a walk in the park but they will aim to bag three points in the encounter.

"It is a tough match but we really need the three points to lift up our team Spirit though we cannot underrate our opponent," he offered.

Bidco United vs Bandari FC

At Kasarani Annex two wounded clubs are battling for a chance to restore smiles on their supporters faces after embarrassing performances last weekend.

Bidco approach the match on a back of a 3-1 drubbing by Kenya Police FC whereas Bandari are on the ocean blues that show them succumb to a 1-0 loss to Kakamega Homeboyz.

Anthony Akhulia charges are however, not big fan of the fixture as they have failed to win it in six attempts. Bandari have nicked a win in four instances with two encounters ending in a stalemate. The Thika stationed club (Bidco) have never kept a clean sheet against the Dockers.

Maximum points for either side will lift them to fourth on the standings.
