Mombasa Elite piped Rainbow 2-0 to record the biggest win of the day in the National Super League (NSL).
Mombasa Elite easily dispatched Rainbow 2-0 in a second-tier match played at the Mbaraki Sports Club in Mombasa on Sunday 8th October.
Emmanuel Lunalo grabbed a quick brace just before the breather and Elite held on to this lead to the very end. The win moves the homeside to tenth on the log with 6 points from 4 matches while Rainbow are sixteenth with 4 points having played the same number of matches.
Kibera Black Stars 2-2 Mombasa Stars
Kibera Black Stars and Mombasa Stars played to a two-all draw at the Ligi Ndogo Grounds in Nairobi. Peter Abiola and Stallon Asaba scored for the homeside with Joel Kihara and Rogers Okuna grabbing a goal each for the visitors.
