The Hungarian midfielder is by far the best player in the current Arne Slot's squad, but others don't follow his levels
Dominik Szoboszlai warned Liverpool must "wake up" after dropping more points in the race for the Champions League.
Arne Slot's side were held to a 1-1 draw by Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday, missing the chance to climb back into the Premier League's top four.
Szoboszlai gave Liverpool the lead before half-time with a superb free-kick, but Richarlison struck late to rescue a point for Spurs, prompting boos from the home crowd at the final whistle.
The result leaves Liverpool with just one point from their last two league games, after also losing to Wolverhampton.
"That is a huge disappointment," Szoboszlai told Sky Sports. "I don't know why this keeps happening.
"We have to wake up because if we carry on like this, we should be happy with the Conference League."
Liverpool dominated the first half but lost control after the break.
"In the first half, we controlled the game and they hardly created chances," the Hungarian said. "But in the second half, we didn't do the same things. This is the most difficult time, but we have to stick together."
Slot admitted the result was another costly setback for his side, who also failed to take advantage of defeats for rivals Chelsea and Aston Villa.
"In large parts of the game we were the better team," the Dutchman said. "That's the moment when you have to score the second goal and finish the game.
"We create chances but don't score enough, and we struggle to keep clean sheets. That's a bad combination if you want to collect points."
Liverpool must now quickly regroup before Wednesday's Champions League last-16 second leg against Galatasaray, where they need to overturn a 1-0 first-leg defeat.
"It is understandable that the fans are frustrated," Slot said. "Now, it's up to us to respond with a big performance."
