The 20-year-old striker becomes the latest Kenyan to secure a move abroad following an impressive rise through the domestic ranks, having built a reputation as one of the country's most exciting young attacking prospects.
Comfortable playing anywhere across the front line, Omollo arrives at the nine-time Zambian champions with an impressive record in both the FKF Premier League and the National Super League (NSL).
He first made his mark at Bidco United, helping the club earn promotion to the Kenyan top flight while also contributing to a runners-up finish in a domestic cup competition and second place in NSL.
His breakthrough continued at Murang'a Seal, where he played a key role in the club's promotion to the Premier League, registering five goals and eight assists.
Omollo enjoyed his most prolific season with Nairobi United in the 2023/24 campaign, finishing as the National Super League's top scorer with 17 goals while adding 10 assists to inspire the club to promotion.
He joined Kakamega Homeboyz midway through the 2024/25 season and helped the club secure a top-five finish in the FKF Premier League with five goals and three assists.
The forward replicated those numbers during the 2025/26 campaign, scoring five goals and providing three assists, performances that also earned him a call-up to the Kenya Under-20 national team training camp in 2025.
Speaking after sealing the move, Omollo said: "I am very happy and honoured to join Mufulira Wanderers, one of the most historic and respected clubs in Zambia.
I have heard so much about the passion of the fans and the rich history of the Mighty. I am ready to work hard and help the team achieve its objectives."
Mufulira Wanderers Chief Executive Officer Evans Chiyanta believes the Kenyan forward will add significant quality to the squad.
"Henry is a young, proven goalscorer with excellent experience in both the Kenyan Premier League and National Super League.
His quality, versatility and attacking output will strengthen our squad and align perfectly with our ambitions for the season. We are delighted to welcome him to the Abena Milambo family."
According to the club, Omollo's arrival forms part of Mufulira Wanderers' efforts to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new campaign, with the club banking on the Kenyan youngster's pace, versatility and eye for goal to make an immediate impact.
