The in-form Harambee Stars forward once again underlined his growing influence in the Zambian top flight, delivering a decisive brace that propelled the defending champions to their fourth straight league victory.

Shumah wasted little time stamping his authority on the contest, breaking the deadlock seven minutes into the match to hand Dynamos a deserved early lead.

The former Kakamega Homeboyz striker capitalized on Dynamos' bright start, calmly finding the back of the net to ignite the home crowd.

Aba Yellow quickly built on that momentum and doubled their advantage in the 12th minute when Frederick Mulambia finished off a well-worked move, giving the reigning champions a commanding cushion early in the quarter hour mark in the encounter.

Despite Dynamos’ early dominance, the visitors gradually grew into the match.

Their persistence paid off moments before halftime when Mukaka Francis pulled one back for MUZA at the stroke of the break, trimming the deficit and ensuring the contest remained finely poised heading into halftime with the hosts narrowly ahead.

MUZA returned from the interval with renewed intensity and stunned the home crowd just five minutes into the second half.

Given Kalusa completed the comeback by drawing the visitors level, setting the stage for a dramatic finale.

However, MUZA’s celebrations proved short-lived.

Five minutes later, Dynamos reclaimed the lead through their talisman Shumah.

The reigning Football Kenya Federation Premier League Golden Boot winner rose highest inside the area to power home a clinical header from Chifundo Mphasi’s exquisite trivela delivery, restoring the champions’ advantage.

Shumah appeared poised to chase a second successive hat-trick, but his evening ended late in the contest when he was withdrawn with five minutes remaining.

Dynamos nevertheless wrapped up the victory shortly afterward when second-half substitute Brian Masanyinga added a fourth goal, sealing a comfortable win for the hosts.

The brace further highlighted Shumah’s scintillating form, marking his second double in just nine days and taking his remarkable run to seven goals over that period.

His latest exploits lifted his league tally to 14 goals, strengthening his grip at the summit of the top scorers’ chart and opening a four-goal gap as he intensifies his pursuit of the Golden Boot in his debut season in the Zambian top flight.

Shumah’s heroics also propelled Dynamos to 51 points, extending their lead at the summit to five points ahead of Red Arrows with a game in hand yet to play as the Kitwe based side steps up their quest to retain the league crown for a second successive season.
