Tera, 29, was introduced from the bench at the half-hour mark, coming in as a replacement for fellow midfielder Armen Ambartsumyan.
His presence worked out well for the visitors, as they rallied back from a 1-0 deficit to lead 2-1, only to concede a late equalizer in stoppage time.

Petros Avetisyan’s penalty in the 26th minute had given hosts Van hopes of gaining immediate revenge against Ararat, who on Monday, 16 March battered them 3-0.
Those hopes were extinguished in a lively second half, as Ararat rallied back, gaining a way back in the tie in the 63rd minute, when Nigeria’s Ibrahim Isty Daniel scored an own goal.
It would take till the 92nd minute for league leaders Ararat to finally get into the lead, as Senegalese forward Alioune Ndour converted a penalty to leave Van on the brink.
The hosts were , however, not out of the contest, as they scored a last-gasp equalizer through Aris Karapetyan to settle for a point, and extend their winless run against Ararat to seven games.
On head-to-head, the last time Ararat lost to Van was way back in March 2024.
As for Tera, an appearance from the bench ended his run of two successive starts, and he will look to get back to the starting eleven when Ararat face Shirak Gyumri in the Armenian Cup quarter finals on Thursday, 2 April.
Tera last featured for Harambee Stars in September 2024, and was not called up in Benni McCarthy’s latest squad set to play two friendlies later this month.
