Headlining the latest recruitment drive is the arrival of Senegalese winger Pape Doudou Diallo, who joins the Glamour Boys from Tanzanian Premier League side Azam SC.
The highly-rated wide attacker is expected to significantly boost Shabana’s attacking depth as the club intensifies its pursuit of a maiden FKF Premier League title.
Diallo’s signing marks another chapter in his rapidly evolving East African journey, having only joined Azam SC six months ago.
The 23-year-old brings with him invaluable continental experience, having recently featured in the CAF Confederation Cup, a pedigree that adds a new dimension to Shabana’s frontline.
His credentials are further underlined by a standout individual achievement during the 2024/25 Senegalese Ligue 1 season, where he emerged as the league’s top scorer with 11 goals while turning out for ASC Linguère de Saint-Louis.
Also joining Shabana is Congolese striker Mambote Batshi Assis, who has arrived from AF Saint Christian in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Batshi brings considerable experience from the competitive Linafoot league, having previously featured for established sides including AC Kuya Sport and Renaissance du Congo.
His addition is expected to provide both firepower and depth to Shabana’s attacking options.
The Peter Okidi-led side has further reinforced its squad with the acquisition of 82 Ultimate Cup Most Valuable Player (MVP) Jasper Omwando from Leads United FC, alongside the signings of FC Talanta attacker Mohammed Abdalla and defensive midfielder John Owira from Bidco United.
Collectively, the signings represent a bold statement of intent from Shabana, signalling the club’s determination to mount a sustained and credible challenge for the 2025/26 FKF Premier League title.
The 2022/23 National Super League (NSL) champions currently sit third on the league standings with 31 points, nine adrift of the summit occupied by record champions Gor Mahia.
