Timbe, who had been without a club since leaving FK Sabail in Azerbaijan, completed his transfer to Schaerbeek on Sunday.
The move marks another chapter in a career that has seen him compete across multiple levels in Belgium, having previously played in the country’s top and second divisions.
A well-traveled footballer, Timbe has featured for clubs across Europe and Asia.
He began his football journey in Kenya, passing through several academies, including Ligi Ndogo, before moving to the Anderlecht Academy from JMJ Youth Academy in 2006 at age 13.
After two years, he joined Beerschot A.C. (then Germinal Beerschot) in 2008.
In 2010, Timbe signed a two-year deal with Genk, initially featuring for the reserve team before earning a new four-year contract.
His professional career has since taken him to Lierse, Dingang United, Beijing Renhe, Reading, Vissel Kobe, Buriram United, Nanjing City, and, most recently, Sabail.
At the international level, Timbe made his Harambee Stars debut in 2012 and was a key player until Kenya’s group-stage exit at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
He has scored five goals for the national team.
Crossing Schaerbeek, based in Brussels, currently plays in the Belgian Division 1 following promotion from Division 2 in 2024–25.
The club is currently 11th on the 12-team log with 15 points after 20 rounds of league games.
Founded 81 years ago, the club has faced numerous challenges but has recently enjoyed success, including becoming provincial champions in 2020, gaining promotion to the national level, and achieving back-to-back promotions in 2024 and 2025 to reach the third tier, the highest non-professional level in Belgian football.
The club’s colors are green and white.
With his experience and versatility, Timbe is expected to be a key addition to Schaerbeek, as they aim to climb the table and solidify their place in Belgium’s competitive third tier.
