The Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association Term 2 B games are currently ongoing in Kakamega

The Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association National games enter day two on this morning with matches lined up across various disciplines at different venues as the hunt for East Africa School games ticket intensifies in Kakamega.

Football Boys

Shanderema Secondary School have a date with Nyanza region winners Agoro Sare after an impressive start to the matches that saw them cruise to an eight nil win over North Eastern minnows Khorof Harar whereas Agoro came from behind to floor Central representatives Kirangari Boys two goals to one in Pool A opening matches.

At stake in this match set to be played at the Bukhungu Stadium is a ticket to the semi finals of the national competitions with top spot in the group also available for grabs. The Eagles of Shanderema will do without the services of their talisman Mark Shaban who is out nursing an injury despite being cleared following claims of double registration on National education portal NEmis .

Speaking ahead of the match, both coaches were optimistic of guiding their schools to the last four after the final whistle insisting they have prepared their squads well for the encounter and it won't be a push over for either side.

Other matches

In other Pool A match, Adan Noor-coached Khorof Harar will squire out against Kirangari Boys at Kakamega High School Outer field as both teams target to avoid elimination from the school competition after suffering defeat in their opening matches.

In Pool B, Solidarity Boys match to the finals will be up to the test as they came up aganist wounded Coast Region representatives Serani school, who suffered an opening day one nil lose to Dagoretti High School.

Solidarity, who won its opening match 8-0 against Eastern Region representatives Matiliku, will need a win against the coast side to advance to the last four of the school games whereas Serani will be hoping to avoid defeat to keep alive their chances of progressing in the competition.

Elsewhere in group B, Matiliku will be looking to bounce back from a horrible eight nil defeat on Tuesday to St. Anthony Boys as they face off with Dagoretti High School in a match set to be played at Mukumu Boys grounds.

All boys matches will kick off at 11AM.

Football Girls

Reigning champions Wiyeta Girls will be up against the dangerous Assassins Madira who thrashed Mbitini girls seven goals to nil with the two mighty soccer girls teams eagerly waiting to outshine each other with a semi final slot at stake.

Butere Girls' will be hoping to down Coast representatives Kombani in a match set for Mabao grounds to raise high their stakes of advancing to the next level after a disappointing first day draw aganist Dagoretti mixed.

In other matches, Lwak Girls will clash aganist Mbitini with the loser facing elimination from the tournament as Njambini face Dagoretti mixed at Kakamega outer field.
