Marca reports that the Ukrainian footballer is seriously considering a shocking career change
It never gets dull with Mykhailo Mudryk.
On the day Chelsea are about to face Manchester United in one of the most intriguing games of this Premier League round, the news broke out that the Blues' banned star Mudryk is considering a shocking career change - from football to athletics!?
Renowned Spanish newspaper Marca reports that the 24-year-old Ukrainian, whose football career has been seriously jeopardised by breaching anti-doping rules, is considering becoming a runner!

Apparently, Mudryk has already started working with Ukraine's national sprint team. He's eyeing the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, where he believes he could represent his country in athletics!?
On his Premier League debut in 2023, Mudryk actually clocked a jaw-dropping 36.67 km/h and is known for his staggering, raw pace. However, this still sounds surreal, and we're not sure that his doping ban in football would be ignored in athletics.
The Football Association have charged Chelsea winger with a doping offence after he failed a drugs test last year. He was provisionally suspended in December 2024 while he and the Blues waited for the results of a B sample, and the FA have now confirmed that he has been charged.
Mudryk has not played a match for either Chelsea or Ukraine since November 2024, and the possibility of returning to the pitch in the foreseeable future is quite unclear.
