After a somewhat disappointing spell with PSG, the Frenchman is already running riots with Juventus, scoring five goals in his first three appearances

The popular saying says that there's a lid for every pot. And although it commonly refers to romantic partners, it can (as usual) be applied to football, as it perfectly describes the situation between Juventus and Randal Kolo Muani.

On one hand, a club with serious striker troubles - Dusan Vlahovic has been nowhere near the expected level, Kenan Yildiz is too young to carry the entire team on his back, Nico Gonzalez and Timothy Weah are still adapting, while Arkadiusz Milik has long been injured.

On the other hand, a forward with serious self-esteem issues, who joined Paris Saint-Germain a year and a half ago as a major reinforcement for €80 million but has since scored only 11 goals in 54 appearances, and who played his last match on December 6.

Even though many doubted it, Kolo Muani turned out to be an ideal lid for Juve's pot, as the Frenchman netted five times in three appearances with the Old Lady, becoming instantly the club's joint-third scorer in all competitions. Moreover, he became the first-ever Serie A player to net five times in three games and the first Bianconeri player to score in each of his first three matches.

Judging by the way Kolo Muani started his spell at Allianz Stadium, he and Juventus will make a terrific combination. Even though football is not as exact as maths, it wouldn't be the first time for two minuses to result in a great plus.
