Just like in their mid-week win over Shabana, Ingwe once again needed a positive second-half to glide past their opponents, their latest win making it three wins on the trot, and making a mockery of the early season strife that accompanied their three-game winless start.
On a day when Fred Ambani’s side pulled off quite a dominant show, it took 48 minutes for them to finally take the lead through full-back Vincent Mahiga, before James Kinyanjui added a late second to keep up his fine form, and that of his club.
Victory for Leopards takes them third on the log with 12 points, while Mathare United, who suffered back-to-back losses for the first time this season, drop to 11th on seven points.

Matano stunned by Seal
Elsewhere at St. Sebastian Park, Robert Matano's KCB stumbled to their fourth consecutive defeat after losing 2-1 to lowly Murang'a Seal, who came into the game firmly in the relegation picture.
New-season signing Paul Osama got the hosts into the lead right before halftime, before Joe Waithira added a late second in the 88th minute, to give Osborne Monday a much-needed win that ensures he keeps his job.

KCB, who only scored their consolation in stoppage time, on the other hand are on a wretched run of form, having gone all October without a win, and the slide looking to threaten another new month.
In other matches played on Sunday, defending league champions Kenya Police settled for a barren draw with Posta Rangers at Police Sacco, with bottom side APS Bomet registering a similar result in their fixture against Bidco United at Kasarani Annex.
Ambani's Leopards turn the tide
A few weeks ago, a section of Ingwe fans voiced their concerns over their side's tame start to the season, where they drew all their first three games.
Their ultimatums, in hindsight, might well have triggered a chain reaction that has now spurred the team on a brilliant run.
After their winning travels to Kisii, Leopards, carrying just one change, impressed yet again on Sunday, cruising to their third consecutive win of the season, and strikingly remaining unbeaten thus far.
Young Kelly Madada threatened early on with two fierce strikes in the first 10 minutes - one which came off a post - before clicking to gear in the second half.
Having shone in the first period, the opening goal had to come through the efforts of Madada, whose run and strike at goal offered a platform for Mahiga to bundle home a rebound in the 48th minute.

The Madada show at Nyayo Stadium continues
He evades his markers and shoots at goal, but the goalkeeper punches the ball in Mahiga's path, who slots it in the far corner

After a couple of near misses from substitute Christopher Koloti, Julius Masaba showed his impact yet again from the bench as he terrorized the Slum Boys defence on the right side before cutting back for Kinyanjui to slot home against his former side.
The win, celebrated wildly on the stands, has Ingwe in ascendancy, and the past looks to have been swept under.
