Only two days after the information about the Red Devils' interest in Karim Adeyemi emerged, Borussia Dortmund forward made the headlines but for all the wrong reasons
Two days ago, German Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg revealed exclusive information about Manchester United's interest in Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi, causing the news to become one of the main sports stories in England.
Today, the 23-year-old is making the headlines again, but this time for all the wrong reasons. Namely, according to BILD, Adeyemi was caught by the police with brass knuckles and a taser, both illegally possessed, which represents a criminal offence according to German law!
Karim Adeyemi received a penalty order a few weeks ago for illegal possession of weapons. The police found two prohibited items in Adeyemi's possession – a knuckle duster and an electric shock device.

And while the whole public - not only in his homeland - is in bewilderment, wondering what Adeyemi was thinking, he'll have to pay a €450,000 fine in 60 instalments (€7,500 per day).
As per BILD, the forward has been living a rather wild lifestyle alongside his wife, Swiss musician Loredana, as they have portrayed themselves as a genuine power couple, showing off fast cars and vacations in luxury hotels.
Adeyemi enters his final year of contract with Dortmund, and although they reportedly wanted to extend it and include a release clause, they may rethink their decision since the player's focus is elsewhere, rather than on the pitch.
At the same time, the Red Devils could reconsider their choice and wonder whether such a problematic squad member is actually worth €60 million (at least) they'd have to splurge for Adeyemi's move to Old Trafford.
