Kenyan international Daniel Anyembe played for 90 minutes as his Danish club Viborg FF downed AGF 2-1 in a league match played on Sunday evening.
The utility defender did not play in his usual right-back position as he was fielded at the heart of defence, playing a part in the team’s triumph over AGF in their backyard.
Isak Steiner Jensen opened the scoring in the 35th minute before Frederik Beyer Tingager drew AGF level in the 59th minute.
Srđan Kuzmić then won the hosts the match with a 72nd-minute goal.
Viborg are eighth in the log with 12 points after ten rounds of league matches.
In Belarus, Josphat Lopaga came on in the 84th minute as his club, Dynamo Brest, settled for a three-all draw with Shakhtyor in Belarus on Sunday evening.
Shakhtyor went ahead in the 14th minute through Maksim Kovalevich before Ivan Zenkov's own goal in the 24th minute drew the home side level.
Mikhail Nikolayevich Gordeychuk gave Brest the lead in the 26th minute, an advantage that lasted until the 40th minute before Euloge Placca drew the visitors level.
Maksim Pyatrovich Skavysh thought he had won the game when he found the back of the net in the 88th minute, but the hosts responded through Syarhey Viktaravich Kislyak deep into stoppage time to earn a point.
