Singida Fountain Gate were defeated 4-1 by Egyptian side Future FC to drop out of the Confederation Cup preliminary round

Kenyan international Erick 'Marcelo' Ouma featured for 45 minutes as AIK succumbed to a 2-0 loss to third placed Hacken at the Bravida Arena on Sunday afternoon.

Ouma, deployed as a left-back, was named as one of the starters for the game, but was hooked at halftime for Axel Bjornstrom.

His limited contribution was the first time he failed to play over 60 minutes since coming in as a substitute in a February cup game against Vasteras SK. Then, he played for only 13 minutes.

Zambian forward Edward Chilufya was the difference maker in the Allsvenskan contest however, as he scored a second half double - in the 63rd and 77th minute - to condemn AIK to their 11th defeat in 25 games this season.

Collins Sichenje.

In Finland, Kenyan defender Collins Sichenje clocked a full 90 minutes as his club - KuPS - settled for a 1-1 draw against SJK in a Playoff Group A match played at the Kuopio Football Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The on-loan player from AIK was making his third straight appearance for his team after the recent FIFA international break where he was unused for Harambee Stars in the Qatar and South Sudan friendlies.

KuPS are second on the six-team log with 47 points, six behind leaders HJK.

Alfred Scriven.

In Norway, Kenyan forward Alfred Scriven was a full participant for Hodd as they came out 3-0 losers to Moss in the Obos - Ligaen.

After appearing on the Kenyan bench in their two international friendlies, Scriven has in four matches played since then clocked 90 minutes, while scoring twice - against Jerv in a 2-2 draw - and assisted once.

Elvis Rupia, Duke Abuya.

In one of the most pivotal clashes for Tanzanian club Singida Fountain Gate FC, which is home to the former Kenya Police FC pair of Abuya and Rupia, their visit to Egypt in a CAF Confederation Cup second round preliminary second leg didn’t turn out well, as they suffered a heavy 4-1 loss to Future FC, missing out on a group stage berth.

Despite playing with ten men from the 55th minute onwards after defender Mahmoud Rezk was sent off for misconduct, the hosts managed to overcome their 1-0 first-leg defeat in Tanzania two weeks earlier thanks to strikes from Ahmed Atef, Ahmed Refaat, Omar Kamal and Nasser Maher.

The visitors, who traveled without another Kenyan in Joash Onyango, scored their consolation through Marouf Tchakei.
