Bidco United winger Chris Owino is hoping to reach at least ten goals and an equal number of assists this season after helping create two goals last weekend.

Owino bagged two assists last weekend when Bidco rallied from a goal down to beat FC Talanta 3-1 at the Kasarani Annex.

Ezekiel Okare netted twice with Francis Oduor adding the other as the Thika based club dispatched Talanta to bag the first win of the season.

Owino joined Bidco before the season began from Mathare United and won the trust of coach Anthony Akhulia who has been fielding him in the starting team in the four matches played.

The winger intends to build on the goodwill from the tactician and the confidence derived from last weekend and reach his individual targets.

"It was such a great feeling to help the team get the first win of the season. The confidence I got from the game will go a long way in helping me attain my targets this season," he said.

He might have opened up his individual targets but for Owino, the objectives of the team come first as he hopes to guide the outfit to a respectable finish is the main thing.

Bidco have been consistently finishing in the bottom half of the log but Owino believes that the team will not struggle this season.

The Thika based are among the four teams yet to lose a game this season.

The other unbeaten teams are: Gor Mahia, Posta Rangers and Kariobangi Sharks.

"I am confident we will have a successful season. With the kind of depth, we have and determination in team, there is no way we will be fighting relegation," he added.
