Only three players are active in the current international break window

With Kenya's Harambee Stars not taking part in the current FIFA international break, Kenyan players have who made the national team previously and were hoping to do so were confined to their clubs, with only a handful of foreigners playing in the Kenyan league earning call ups to do duty with their respective countries.

Only two teams in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League have their players involved at the international level, with defending champions Tusker FC having two while Bandari have one.

Ibrahim Joshua - Tusker (Tanzania)

In the local scene, the Tanzanian has been the highlight of the international breaking after earning his maiden call up for Taifa Stars following his exploits for Tusker in his first season in the FKFPL.

The lanky forward went on to make his debut for Tanzania, coming on in the second half as Tanzania saw off the Central African Republic 3-0 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium last week.

He could make his second appearance on Tuesday when Tanzania play Sudan in another friendly at the same venue.

David Majak - Tusker (South Sudan)

Majak, another of Tusker's strikers has been doing duty with South Sudan in the AFCON Qualifiers preliminary round, where they managed to see off Djibouti to book a ticket to the group stages of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.

Though they have since left the Kenyan scene, Saad Musa formerly with AFC Leopards and former Gor Mahia striker Tito Okello were also part of the team for South Sudan, with Okello even netting a brace in the first leg encounter.

Justin Ndikumana - Bandari (Burundi)

The Burundian has been on duty with The Swallows who have been engaging in friendly matches in the current international break.

In their 1-0 loss to Bahrain on the road last Saturday, Ndikuma started off the bench and will be hoping to make the team when Burundi take on Liberia in their second friendly match in Turkey.
