Nigerian forward Michaël Karamor has pledged to deliver at least twenty league goals for National Super League side, Kisumu All Stars.
Karamor, joined Otenga in the off-season transfer window on the Bosman rule following the expiry of his contract with top flight side, Kakamega Homeboyz.
The forward, opened his goal account at All Stars last weekend in a style as his brace inspired the lakeside to a 2-0 win over Migori Youth.
Karamor, who was named the team captain upon his arrival, endured a difficult return to Kisumu as he failed to score in the opening two league games.
To add salt to injury, he missed a penalty during their 1-1 draw against Silibwet Leons in round one.
The former Western Stima man can however, rest easy after finding the back of the net twice in round three and won Otenga their first game of the season in the process.
He simply doesn't want to stop there as he aims to reach at least twenty goals and see the club return to the table of men.
"I am happy to score my first goal for the club. It was satisfying to help the team win the first game of the season as well," said the ex-Sofapaka net buster.
Karamor, believes the set individual target will be enough to deliver the 'Golden Boot' award at the end of the season as well as automatic promotion for the team.
All Stars were relegated to the second tier in 2020 after losing the promotion/relegation playoff to Vihiga United , who have since rebranded to Mulembe United.
"I am in good shape now despite starting a bad start to the season. I hope to score as many goals as possible to guide my team back to Premier League since that's where they belong," he added.
Since their relegation, the club has grappled with a number of challenges even as Kenyan too flight continues to crave for return of league matches at the Moi Stadium, Kisumu.
