The experienced defender had been the subject of transfer speculation over the last couple of months, with Naibois heavily linked with securing his signature.
The Ugandan is the latest addition to the Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja-backed side, who are out to strengthen the team ahead of the second leg, where they seek to challenge for the league title and post a strong finish at the CAF Confederation Cup.
Kizza jetted into the country on Monday, 5 January and proceeded for his medicals at a Nairobi hotel in the company of the team's medical team, as well as the newly appointed Strength and Conditioning coach, Kevin Kimani.
Born in 1999, Kizza's first shot into the limelight came when he signed for Ugandan club Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) in 2017.
His three-year stay at KCCA was impressive and impactful as he made over 70 appearances and scored 11 goals, thus catching the eyes of Canadian giants CF Montreal.
The 26-year-old would then sign for Montreal in July 2020. It is at the Canadian outfit that he got to play alongside former Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama until the end of the 2021 season when the Ugandan’s contract was not renewed.
Kizza then signed for Portuguese top-tier side FC Arouca in July 2022 before he returned to the Ugandan league, putting pen to paper at Express FC in September 2024 on a one-year deal.
His stay at Express lasted barely two months, as he then left for Egyptian outfit Telecom Egypt SC, where he also left less than five months, citing unprofessionalism and unfulfilled contractual obligations.
Kizza returned home and joined NEC FC in July 2025, and was impressive in their CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC) preliminary match against Nairobi United, prompting the latter to hunt for his signature.
At Naibois, Kizza will compete for places with Harambee Stars left back Kevin Otiende, whose impressive form this season caught the eye of the national team coaching staff.
