Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Chief Executive Harold Ndege was reportedly attacked by armed goons while attempting to access his office at Kandanda House on Monday.
Ndege arrived in a taxi by noon, only to be confronted by goons who attacked and denied him access to the building.

His lawyer, Gregory Ndege, confirmed the incident, saying his brother has already reported the matter at Kasarani Police Station.
“This morning, he was reporting to his office as usual, but on getting to the gate, some goons attacked him and blocked his access to Kandanda house. This is quite unfair considering that he is still an employee of FKF,” he said.
Gregory complained that the FKF was desperate to get rid of his brother illegally after they obtained an injunction blocking his removal.
In a post on social media handles, Ndege said his life was in danger following the attack.
It is, however, not clear who had mobilised the goons to attack the former Tusker player.
On 9 January, the Labour Court blocked FKF from discussing or replacing Ndege until the matter is heard and determined.
The court order came after the federation issued a show-cause letter to Ndege over 21 issues.
In their letter to Ndege, FKF blamed him for the poor performance of the U17 team at the CECAFA Championships in Ethiopia, citing a lack of structure and inadequate preparation.
The letter also accused Ndege of failing to inform or consult the President about a Parliamentary summon dated 28th October, 2025, which required Hussein Mohammed to appear before the Parliamentary Departmental Committee on Sports and Culture.
He is also blamed for the poor handling of litigation involving Nyamira and Homa Bay, which was cited as one marked by delays, poor coordination, and lack of strategic oversight, exposing FKF to unnecessary legal and reputational risk.
Ndege is further accused of persistent absenteeism from the secretariat and routinely working from home without authorisation.
Of particular concern is the alleged practice of signing federation cheques from his residence, which the letter said undermined internal controls and accountability.
