Ingwe, who are a point from the red zone, are set to play the struggling Sofapaka next weekend
AFC Leopards midfielder Boniface Munyendo believes that the team will resume league matches rejuvenated and roaring after the FIFA international break, hailing the friendlies organized by the club during the two-week break.
Leopards sit sixteenth in the league with nine points having won one match, drawn six, and failed to pick maximum points in four instances, performance that has piled pressure on the playing unit and technical bench to turn the club’s fortunes around.
Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Munyendo who joined Ingwe during the off-season transfer window from Nzoia Sugar admitted that the playing unit is under pressure to put an end to the string of poor performances but remained adamant the club will find the right foot as the league resumes.
The former Vihiga Bullets man further suggested that the series of friendlies organized by the club during the recess period has given the team an opportunity to get the best out of themselves as well as to master the gaffer's philosophy having headed into pre-season under a different coach.

Ingwe thrashed Kariobangi Sharks 4-1 before succumbing to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of KCB in bounce matches staged over Friday and Saturday.
"We will be back stronger and better. We have been unlucky in most of the matches this season but the break has given us time to reflect on ourselves and has also given us time with our coach thus getting to learn and master what he wants from us,” he offered.
“The friendlies organized by the club during this period are very important, the players have gauged themselves and the coaches have worked on tactical details which if we implement well as the playing unit we will be unbeatable after the break,” added Munyendo.
Munyendo, who scored five goals last term for Nzoia, is yet to score a goal since linking up with the former Kenya Premier League champions, and the shielding midfielder acknowledges being bothered by the recent goal drought.
He, however, pledges to chip in with some goals when the league resumes as well as playing his primary role of shielding the Leopards backline.
"Goals will come after the break. I am also worried by the inability to find the back of the net but I am confident after the break things will be different," he assured.
Ingwe, who are one point from the red zone, are set to play struggling Sofapaka after the break with both sides keen to escape the relegation bracket.
