From teenage midfield maestros dictating play in the heart of the park to fearless forwards carrying the goalscoring burden for struggling sides, Kenya’s next generation of stars continued to announce themselves on the biggest domestic stage.
To determine who stood above the rest, Mozzart Sport journalists were tasked with naming their Young Player of the Season and explaining the reasoning behind their choice.

Humphrey Aroko (Kariobangi Sharks)
Aroko has been outstanding for Kariobangi Sharks this season, maintaining a level of consistency that has stood out throughout much of the campaign, a rare trait for a player of his age.
Despite the team’s struggles that saw them relegated, albeit pending an appeal, the Kenya U20 forward has delivered impressive numbers with 12 league goals and six assists.
He has also added six goals in the Mozzart Bet Cup, where he currently leads the scoring charts.
His sustained form and maturity in front of goal have strengthened his case as one of the league’s top young talents and placed him in the broader conversation for Player of the Season.
Given his trajectory, it would not be surprising to see him attract interest from top clubs abroad in the near future.

Kelly Madada ( AFC Leopards)
Touted as Kenya's next big thing. It is not normal for a young player of Kelly Madada's age to play week in, week out. Madada has featured in all of AFC Leopards matches this season, starting in 26 and coming on as a substitute in eight.
His four goals and 29 chances created see him come third only after James Kinyanjui (50) and Tyson Otieno (31).
On the grand scheme of things, this is no mean feat considering his switch to a deeper box-to-box midfield role. His versatility and energy to cover ground have seen him become AFC Leopards' highest shot on target attempter with 11 shots last season.
His ability to shoot with both feet has been a revelation, while his energy to thwart counterattacks at the opposite end of midfield shows how reliable he has been.

Humphrey Aroko (Kariobangi Sharks)
In a season where his club was fighting against the drop, Aroko stood to be counted in a full campaign that lifted him to greater heights. At just 18, the Highway Secondary School alumnus carried the load for Sharks, scoring double-figure goals, and provided six assists in only 26 appearances.
Atop the numbers - including 87 shot attempts and 32 chances - Aroko showed his consistency for everyone to see, scooping six Player-of-the-Match awards, and appearing eight times in the league's Team-of-the-Week.
To cap it all, he won the league's Young Player of the Season.

Humphrey Aroko (Kariobangi Sharks)
Despite plying his trade in a side battling to avoid relegation, Aroko emerged as one of the standout performers of the campaign and took significant strides in his development.
The 18-year-old, a product of Highway Secondary School, shouldered much of the attacking responsibility for Sharks, finishing the season with a double-digit goal tally and six assists from just 26 league appearances.
His influence went far beyond goals and assists. Aroko was a constant threat in the final third, registering 87 shots and creating 32 chances while delivering impactful performances week after week.
That consistency earned him six Player of the Match awards and eight selections in the league's Team of the Week, underlining his growing importance to the team.
His impressive season was ultimately recognised with the Young Player of the Season award, a fitting reward for one of the league's brightest emerging talents.
Meshack Kisenge
Humphrey Aroko
The 18-year-old played the entire season with the maturity of a veteran.
He was not scared of taking matters into his hands when it mattered most. One thing was clear - he never wanted the club that platformed him to stardom to sink to the National Super League (NSL).
A return of 12 goals and six assists does not tell his story of the 2025-2026 season fully.
His commitment, hard work and having the courage to attempt to unhook his team from the jaws of relegation does.
Should the promotion/relegation playoff be held, maybe just maybe, he could be the boy who will be remembered for saving Sharks from dropping to the second tier.
