Named in the starting eleven, the former Gor Mahia and AFC players respectively got full playing minutes under their belt in the match staged at the Woodlands Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Starting fourth on the day, and only four games left before the Zambian season draws to a close, Dynamos would have really wanted the three points to get some cushion in the top four that is assured a ticket to the continental CAF tournaments.

And they got off to the perfect start just a minute before the quarter hour mark. Forward Emmanuel Chabula picked up the ball and found the opening goal of the game for Dynamos in the 14th minute.

Dynamos held onto the goal up until the half time break but luck would not swing to their side in the dying stages of the second fourty five.

In the 86th minute, Green Buffaloes were awarded a penalty and forward Friday Samu stepped up and converted his spot kick with great aplomb to ruin Dynamo’s near win and grab a point from the match.

With the draw, Dynamos jumped upto third place on the log just one point behind the chasing pack who are yet to play their game. Buffaloes on the other hand jumped upto seventh on the log after starting the match in ninth position.
