Following a pulsating round of fixtures that lit up the long Easter weekend, the National Super League returns on Sunday, 5 April with two high-stakes encounters that promise drama at both ends of the table.
At the heart of Sunday’s action, promotion-chasing sides Migori Youth and Fortune Sacco face stern tests against relegation-threatened opponents Luanda Villa and Darajani Gogo FC, respectively, in matches that could significantly shape the course of their seasons.

Migori Youth will be under pressure to respond after a disappointing setback in Taita Taveta County, where they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Mwatate United, a result that saw them lose crucial ground in the title race.
The Migori-based outfit will now shift focus to Mumboha Grounds, where they take on hosts Luanda Villa, seeking an immediate return to winning ways.
Currently sitting third on the 18-team table with 52 points, the Mozzart Bet-backed side remains firmly in the promotion mix.
A win on Sunday would lift them to 55 points, closing the gap on leaders Mombasa United to just three points and strengthening their push for a top-flight berth with just eleven matches remaining.
However, Migori’s task will be complicated by the absence of talismanic forward and league top scorer Syphas Otieno.
The former MOFA striker has been ruled out after sustaining a thigh injury in the defeat to Mwatate, dealing a significant blow to coach Sammy Okoth’s attacking options.
"The league's leading scorer Syphas Otieno Owuor will miss tomorrow’s match as he focuses on getting back to full fitness. While he is eager to return, our medical team has advised that he remains sidelined as a precautionary measure. We wish him a full and speedy recovery as we look ahead to other crucial fixtures," the club posted.
Despite this setback, Migori will be keen to complete a league double over Luanda Villa, having cruised to a commanding 4-0 win in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
For Luanda Villa, the stakes are equally high, albeit at the opposite end of the table.
The Leonard Swaleh-coached side finds itself precariously placed just above the relegation zone with 28 points, a mere four points clear of the drop.
Desperate to avoid being dragged deeper into the survival battle, Luanda will be motivated not only by the need for points but also by the desire to avenge their heavy 4-0 first-leg defeat.
A positive result could provide a timely boost in their fight to secure safety.
Meanwhile, at Wang’uru Stadium, Fortune Sacco will host Darajani Gogo FC in another fixture laced with contrasting ambitions.
Fortune Sacco head into the match looking to bounce back after dropping valuable points in a thrilling six-goal draw against Naivas FC, a result that halted their impressive three-match winning streak.
The Kirinyaga-based side will be determined to rediscover momentum as they continue their late push for promotion.
Currently on 46 points, a win would narrow the gap between them and third-placed Migori Youth, keeping their promotion hopes alive heading into the final stretch of the season.
Their opponents, Darajani Gogo, face a far more urgent challenge.
The Kibera-based side sits 17th on the table with 24 points and remains firmly entrenched in the relegation battle.
Having endured a difficult run of form, Gogo are yet to register a win this year, a worrying trend that coach Kelly Ogutu will be desperate to overturn.
Victory on Sunday would see them climb to 27 points, drawing level with fellow strugglers Kisumu All Stars and Kabati Youth, and injecting renewed belief into their survival campaign.
