After the 'clash' with Amorim, Manchester’s doors closed, but even better ones opened

Alejandro Garnacho is heading for the Old Trafford exit, with Manchester United and the Argentine winger both reportedly agreeing to part ways this summer. Unsurprisingly, several clubs are already lining up for his signature.

The situation took a dramatic turn weeks ago, when Mail Sport revealed that manager Ruben Amorim delivered a harsh message to Garnacho in front of the entire dressing room, telling him he should "pray" to find another club.

The friction came to a head after the Europa League final against Tottenham, when Garnacho, given under 20 minutes to play, openly voiced his frustration. Speaking from Bilbao, he said: "Until we reached the final, I played every round. And I played 20 minutes today – I don't know. I'm going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next."

Now, with the club having effectively confirmed his departure, the race to land the 20-year-old is underway.

According to Fabrizio Romano, three Premier League clubs have expressed strong interest, and Garnacho is open to staying in the English top tier. Bayer Leverkusen is also reportedly in the mix, alongside several Italian sides.

Although United have slapped a 60–70 millions valuation on Garnacho, insiders say potential buyers are well aware the club is under pressure to cash in.

Chelsea and Napoli—both long-time admirers of the Argentine—remain in the hunt, while the identities of the other two English clubs remain under wraps.

Meanwhile, a press conference moment added fuel to the fire. When Amad Diallo was asked about Garnacho's future, manager Amorim struggled to contain his reaction. A viral video shows him trying to hide his amusement, covering his face and chuckling as Amad answered.
