The Polish striker is a target for many clubs, but Italian sides stand out as the strongest contenders for his signature
Robert Lewandowski’s next move is becoming a growing topic of speculation, with fresh reports claiming the Barcelona striker has already explored options elsewhere among Europe’s elite.
Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Polish forward is leaning toward a switch to AC Milan once the season wraps up, a claim echoed by SPOX partner calciomercato.com. Behind the scenes, his agent Pini Zahavi is said to be actively working on facilitating a move to the Rossoneri, while Juventus remain attentive to any developments.

With his Barcelona deal running down at the end of the current campaign and no extension in sight, the 37-year-old could depart as a free agent. Lewandowski himself has recently avoided giving anything away about his plans, admitting that multiple paths remain open.
“I don’t know; I have to feel it. At the moment I can’t tell you anything, because I’m not even 50 per cent sure which path I want to take. It’s not the right time yet,” he said in early March. He has repeatedly been linked with potential moves outside Europe as well, particularly to Saudi Arabia or the United States.
As for Juventus, La Gazzetta dello Sport previously revealed that Lewandowski held talks with club representatives during the World Cup qualifier between Poland and Albania, which ended 2-1. A move to Turin could see him step in for Dusan Vlahovic, who is approaching the end of his own contract and has been mentioned as a target for both Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
At Barcelona, Lewandowski’s role has shifted under Hansi Flick. While no longer an undisputed starter, he continues to play a significant part in the squad and was included in the lineup for Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Atlético Madrid.
So far this season, he has featured 39 times, accumulated just over 2,000 minutes on the pitch, and contributed 17 goals along with three assists. Barcelona originally brought him in from Bayern Munich in 2022 in a deal worth around €45 million.
Elsewhere, Luka Modric is proving that experience still carries weight at the highest level. Since joining Milan last summer following the expiration of his Real Madrid contract, the Croatian has become an important figure for the side currently sitting third in the table.
