It wouldn't be nice for Mbappe-less PSG against Nice, so he returns tonight

Mbappe spent the entire friendly against Germany a few days ago on the bench due to injury. But he'll be fit for the Ligue 1 clash

Kylian Mbappe was forced to watch his national side's 2-1 loss to Germany in a friendly on Tuesday from the bench. The reason was a minor knee injury, but - as things currently stand - he'll be fit just in time for tonight's Ligue 1 battle between his Paris Saint-Germain and Nice.

The opening game following the return from the international break is scheduled for 10 pm Nairobi time at Parc des Princes.

In the meantime, Mbappe trained normally with his PSG teammates on Thursday night and should probably start the match for Luis Enrique's team.

Unlike the French star, the club have confirmed that Marco Asensio will be treated for a foot injury "at least until the end of the month."

The Spaniard also suffered an injury during his international duties, and PSG have confirmed that he will undergo treatment at least until the end of September. He will therefore miss PSG's Champions League opener against Borussia Dortmund, at least. La Roja manager Luis de la Fuente stated that he believes the Spanish forward will be out until the next international break in mid-October.
