Despite making the move to Celta Vigo's B team, hundreds of Kenyans have pitched camp on the club's social media handles to demand game time for Kenya U20 prodigy Aldrine Kibet.

Kibet joined the Spanish club on Wednesday, 16 July, on a four-year deal that involved initially turning out for the club's B team - Celta Fortuna.
The St. Anthony's Boys High School alumnus who turned 19 in June joined The Sky Blues on a free transfer but will now stay with Celta until 2029.
Since his transfer, Kenyans have been filling the comment section of the otherwise dull Celta Vigo social media pages, asking the whereabouts of the midfielder.
The engagement took a different turn and got more intense from Sunday, 24 August, when Celta posted a photo of their LaLiga match against Mallorca played a day earlier, and captioned it in Swahili to appease their new found Kenyan audience.
"Huo ni wakati ambao utakumbuka maisha yako yote (This is a moment that you will always remember in your life)," read the caption.
The caption was of a photo of Javi Rueda - a returnee from a loan spell at second tier side Albacete who scored Celta’s goal in the match that ended in a 1-1 draw.
It is in that post that Kenyans started piling pressure on Celta with Edgar Wandera even hilariously rating Kibet higher than Barcelona's Lamine Yamal.
“If you're a football fan and you claim you know football. ..then you'll realize that Kibet is far much better than Yamal ...it's a fact not a debate,” posted Wandera.
Kelvin Murithi Njiru continued to exert pressure on Celta.
“Where is our Boy? Is he training with the rest? He's not a small pikin naah,” he posted.
Col Lo did not take the translation kindly, suggesting that it was done by Kibet.
“So instead of making Kibet to play you have decided to make him your translator?,” he posed.
Brian Kilonzo wanted Celta's social media activities paused until Kibet is fielded.
“Do not make any other post until you play our son Kibet,” he posted.
Ck Koech on his part chose to be direct with the demands.
“We demand that kibet be played in first eleven of the senior team,” he stated.
