Harun Kibiwot dreams big after sealing move to Nakuru Bucks

Newly-acquired Nakuru Bucks versatile midfielder Harun Kibiwot believes that, he has what it takes to inspire the club to new high heights even as the Football Kenya Federation Division One campaign draws closer.

Kibiwot joined the Peter Wekesa-coached side couple of months ago from National Super League outfit Vihiga Bullets following their relegation from FKF Premier League last season.

The playmaker told Mozzart Sport that, helping the club get promoted was all what he was aiming to achieve with the ambitious Nakuru club in the new campaign

Bucks, who gained promotion in August after annihilating Ichuni Combined 6-1 in FKF Division 2 Central Zone promotion playoff, have been on a signing spree strengthening all departments.

Central defender Geoffrey Otieno sealed a deal with the league newbies joining from Manyatta United.

Striker Buji Birunda also inked a one-year deal coming in from Super Naks FC.

"I want to give my best in the league and help Bucks get promoted. I believe in myself and in the team which the coach has assembled. We have a good atmosphere here and everything we need to succeed," said the skillful midfielder.

Kibiwot, who has had a taste of top-flight football with Bullets, is also hopeful of a quick return to the top league in future.

"I need to play in top flight football and this stage give a great platform to build my career once again and reach new levels," said the 18-year-old attacker.

Harun has already featured in several buildup matches with his new home, netting twice in three appearances.

Bucks will start their maiden Football Kenya Federation Division One campaign with an away trip to the tricky Karai Primary School grounds where they will face Sunderland Keroche.
