Red-hot Harambee Stars forward Moses Shumah delivered yet another clinical performance on Wednesday, 8 April netting a brace to inspire Power Dynamos to a 3-0 victory over Mines United in a rescheduled Zambia Super League fixture at Arthur Davies Stadium.
The reigning champions wasted little time asserting their dominance, with midfielder Austin Muwowo breaking the deadlock at the quarter-hour mark.

Rising highest to meet a well-delivered cross from Evans Ogbonda, Muwowo powered home a header to hand the hosts an early advantage.
Dynamos maintained their attacking tempo, and their persistence paid off nine minutes before the break when Shumah doubled the lead.
The former Kakamega Homeboyz forward latched onto a precise delivery from Daniel Adoko, before calmly dispatching a low right-footed effort past goalkeeper Chitambala Christo, ensuring the hosts went into halftime firmly in control.
Upon resumption, Mines United showed greater defensive organization and resilience, frustrating Dynamos for extended periods.
However, any hopes of a comeback were extinguished when Shumah struck again to seal the result.
Capitalizing on a defensive lapse, the lanky striker reacted quickest to a loose ball, slotting home the third goal to put the contest beyond doubt.
The brace marked Shumah’s fourth of the season, adding to previous doubles against Napsa Stars, Konkola Blades and FC Muza.
His scintillating form has now seen him climb to 17 league goals, strengthening his grip at the summit of the scoring charts as he eyes a maiden 'Golden Boot' crown.
The brace saw him walk home with 3,000 Zambian Kwacha ( Approximately Kshs 20,300 on current exchange rates) after being named man of the match.
The victory further underlined Dynamos’ title credentials, with the Kitwe-based outfit extending their lead at the top of the standings to 55 points, opening a four-point gap while holding a two-match advantage over their closest challengers as they aim for back-to-back league titles
Elsewhere in Tanzania, Harambee Stars midfielder Duke Abuya captained Young Africans to a convincing 3-0 victory over Pamba Jiji.
The fixture carried added intrigue, with Pamba Jiji boasting a strong Kenyan presence under head coach Francis Baraza, alongside goal keeper coach John Waw and trio players of: Mathew Tegesi, Shaphan Oyugi, and Brian Eshianda.
Yanga’s dominant display saw them tighten their grip at the summit of the league standings, opening a commanding nine-point lead over arch-rivals Simba, who remain second on 44 points.
For Pamba Jiji, the defeat marked their fourth loss of the campaign, leaving them sixth on 26 points as they continue their push for a strong finish.
