Speaking after the match, Oduor reflected on his performance with a mix of satisfaction and humility.
"I did enjoy it. It just helps when everyone is at it, from the back four to the forwards; everyone was putting in the work, so it makes it easy to get on the ball and just enjoy the game.
You don’t usually see many slide tackles from me, but it was just good to be out there and contributing," he said.
On finally returning to the starting lineup after patiently awaiting his opportunity, Oduor stressed the importance of mental resilience.

"It was good to return to the starting berth, especially at this stage of the season. When your opportunity comes, you’ve just got to be ready and take it, and I felt like I did that today for the 70 minutes I was on the pitch.
It can be difficult mentally when you’re not playing, a bit lonely even, but it’s about focusing and ensuring you’re ready when your chance comes," he added.
Oduor also reflected on his recent international appearance for the Harambee Stars.
The match against Grenada in the FIFA Series marked only his second cap for Kenya, six years after his debut against Zambia in 2020.
"It was an unbelievable experience. It’s always an honour to play for your country. We won the last game as well, so it was really a good few days with the team," he recounted.
Grimsby Town’s victory over Crawley Town marked a strong response following a 3-1 defeat to Harrogate Town, propelling them to 10th place in the 24-team English League Two standings.
