
Harambee Starlets striker Topister Situma joins Greek Super League side

The right-footed attacker will don the number 14 shirt at her new club
Harambee Starlets striker Topister Situma has signed a long-term deal with Greek side Sirina Grevenon from Singida Fountain Gate of Tanzania Women Premier League
Situma, who had a sterling season with both Bujumbura Queens and Fountain Gate last season, has inked a two-year contract with the club which ply trade in the Greece women top flight.
The player had been the subject of interest from a number of sides after putting up impressive performances in the concluded CECAFA Women Zonal competitions with the Queens of Burundi. Several top flights sides in Africa and Middle East were rumored to be tracking her but has settled on a move to Europe.
The move has finally been confirmed with the player seen with the Greek side’s jersey in photos released on social media on Thursday night.

The 2021/2022 Football Kenya Federation Women Premier League top scorer will link up with another Kenyan at the club center back Dorcus Shikobe who joined the Greek side one month ago.
The former Vihiga Queens forward enjoyed a stellar season in Tanzania that had several clubs salivate for his signature but she could secure a short-term deal in Burundi that she further posted up impressive figures in the CAF CECAFA Zonal qualifiers thus earning her a move abroad adding to the long list of Kenyan Women athletes to have secured moves far away from home
Topister joined Simba Queens after terminating her contract with four times FKF Women Premier League champions Vihiga Queens and went on to feature severally for the side before making a switch to the fast-growing Fountain Gate.
The right-footed attacker will don the number 14 shirt at her new club who are twelfth on the league standings and sit in the relegation zone with one match played having lost the opening fixture to Greek giants PAOK.
The Greece Women Super League is made up of 14 teams with the league champion automatically booking a chance in the UEFA Women Champions League and the last five are demoted to the lower tier.
