Adhiambo joins the Dar es Salaam-based side from Kenyan giants Ulinzi Starlets on what is understood to be a two-year deal with the club.
Her move was confirmed by Simba through their official Facebook account on Monday, 6 October.
At Simba, the Rising Starlets captain will don jersey number 29 as revealed by the club.
Simba had been eyeing the youngster for the better part of the year, and are believed to have secured her signature in August and later in September but the move hit a snag.
In all the occasions, part of their complications was the fact that Adhiambo’s parents did not fancy a move outside the country, more so at the expense of a chance to join the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) as revealed by Simba Queens head coach Muuusa Mgosi in June.
“We are very interested in her, but the issue now is that her father wants her to stay with Ulinzi to potentially secure a job in the Kenya Defence Forces,” said Mgosi.
Mgosi went ahead to reveal the importance of playing for Simba to the 20-year-old.
“Letting her join Simba would elevate her career, provide financial benefits, and help shape a brighter future for both her and her family,” he added.
At Simba, Adhiambo will join a host of other Kenyans in the club including; Corazone Aquino, Ruth Ingotsi, Elizabeth Wambui and Cynthia Shilwatso.
