The former league champions last surpassed the million mark in June during the second leg of the Mashemeji Derby
Record Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) champions Gor Mahia, once again, walked home hundreds of thousands richer after their match against Posta Rangers.
The club earned Kshs 902,900 from the sale of matchday tickets.

On top of that, Gor won the game 3-0 to end Posta Rangers' unbeaten start in the 2025-2026 campaign.
Club treasurer, Gerphas Okuku, confirmed the figure while assuring fans that efforts are underway to improve match day operations.
"Kshs 902,900 was collected from ticket sales in our match against Posta Rangers. We thank our fans and encourage all to buy tickets to support the club. We promise to improve on the teething problems as we progress,” the statement read in part.
However, the figure reflected a decline of Kshs 82,800 from their previous home fixture against Bidco United, where Gor collected Kshs 985,700.
It also marked the latest instance in which the 21-time league champions failed to surpass the one million mark since embracing digital ticketing, a milestone last achieved on 2 June, during the Mashemeji Derby against AFC Leopards in Homabay, where they banked an impressive Kshs 2,152,750.
On the pitch, K’Ogalo showcased their trademark dominance.
Goals from Harambee Stars trio of; Ben Stanley in the 58th minute, Austine Odhiambo in the 71st, and Felix Oluoch, who netted a stoppage-time strike against his former side, sealed a commanding victory for the defending champions.
The win marked Gor Mahia’s third consecutive league victory, building on earlier triumphs over Sofapaka and KCB.
Head coach Charles Akonnor’s side sits third on the log with nine points, just one shy of leaders Kakamega Homeboyz, with a game in hand.
Gor Mahia will return to action on Thursday, 30 October against 2008 champions Mathare United.
