The two teams are part Kenya’s most successful clubs, and matches between them are often of high octane.
Last season, The Brewers got the better of K’Ogalo, picking four points from them; a 2-1 win in the first leg, and a barren draw in the return leg.
It is for this reason that Morrison, while responding to Mozzart Sport, revealed that the team is planning vengeance against the 12-time league champions and any other team that picked points from them.
“I am having it at the back of my mind that every point that we lost last season, we are going for it this season. If you are a team and you know that you took any points against Gor Mahia last season, just prepare when we meet because we are getting back our points,” said Morrison.
The 25-year-old exuded confidence in the team's preparation, highlighting the importance of the just concluded international break.
“We have trained very well. We have been playing with high intensity, and the international break came at the right time for those of us who have been playing regularly to take some rest and recover before we continue with where we left off,” he added.
The versatile midfielder, who spoke at the sidelines of the Coach and Player of the month awards for October, also opened up on his nomination for the players’ award despite not winning.
“I was happy with the nomination. The fact that someone analyzed the game and noticed me, despite my role not being one that makes headlines, shows that I have been working hard, and will keep pushing,” he concluded.
