FKF Premier League side Bidco United have completed the acquisition of former Gor Mahia striker Samwel Onyango.
The former Harambee Stars forward joins the club as an unattached player, having been without a club since ending ties with Gor Mahia at the end of the 2024/25 season.
Onyango’s transfer was confirmed by The Oilers through their Facebook page on Thursday 8 January.
“We are delighted to announce that we have ameliorated our attack with the signing of center forward Samuel Onyango," read the statement.
At Bidco, the former military man will be tasked with changing the club’s fortunes in front of goal.
The Oilers are currently the lowest scoring team in the league having scored just eight goals in 16 league matches.
Interestingly, the club is one of the best defensively, with goalkeeper Issa Emuria having seven clean sheets.
Onyango made his Kenyan Premier League debut in 2012 and has three titles to his name.
He has also featured for Zambian giants Kabwe Warriors and won the Mozzart Bet Cup with Kenya Police FC in 2024.
