After bringing his Barcelona chapter to an end, the Polish striker already has no shortage of offers for the next stage of his career
Could Robert Lewandowski be preparing for one final adventure before bringing the curtain down on his legendary career? Reports from Poland suggest that the veteran striker has traveled to the United States alongside his longtime agent Pini Zahavi, with MLS side Chicago Fire eager to secure his signature.
The American club has monitored Lewandowski's situation for quite some time and is now reportedly pushing hard to complete a deal. Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed the trip, adding that Chicago Fire have put a contract proposal on the table that would keep the Polish forward in MLS for either two or three seasons, with the final choice left to the player.

At 37, Lewandowski finds himself at a crossroads. Following a trophy-filled spell at Barcelona that brought more than a century of goals and several domestic honors, the former Bayern Munich star is weighing up the next destination in his remarkable career.
Until recently, Turkey appeared to be the most likely landing spot. Fenerbahce were said to be offering a lucrative package worth around €10 million net per year, while comments from Lewandowski's wife Anna seemed to add fuel to the speculation. When asked by a follower whether the family was heading to Turkey, she replied: "It will be Turkey."
However, the statement was later clarified and had nothing to do with a transfer. Anna explained that she had been referring to a personal business venture, with plans to launch a sports camp in the country.

Interest in Lewandowski remains widespread. Alongside Fenerbahçe, clubs from Saudi Arabia have been linked with the Polish icon, while Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan have also been mentioned as potential destinations.
Now, though, Chicago Fire are back at the center of the conversation. With discussions reportedly underway in the United States, the coming days could prove decisive in determining where one of football's greatest goalscorers spends the final chapter of his playing career.
