Out-of-form KCB FC, currently 14th in the standings, faces a limping Bidco United in a 1600 hrs clash at the Kasarani Annex.
After a bright start to the season, when they stunned Tusker 2-0, KCB have struggled for consistency, winning just one of their last six matches.
The Bankers head into the duel on a four-match winless streak that includes three defeats and a draw in their latest outing against Bandari.
Robert Matano’s charges thought they had sealed all three points in Mbaraki before Harambee Stars winger Abdalla Hassan struck in the 94th minute on 9 November to salvage a point for Bandari.
Matano, who joined the club in the off-season with a mandate to revive fortunes and mount a title charge, already finds himself under pressure to steady the ship and push KCB into contention.
The 2024 Mozzart Bet Cup finalists are struggling on both ends of the pitch.
Since their opening fixture, they have failed to score more than a single goal in any match and continue to waste clear chances.
Defensively, they have kept just one clean sheet in six matches since match day one, a weakness that Matano has vowed to address.
Bidco, on the other hand, started strongly and were second on the table by match day two.
However, they have since won only one of their last four matches and dropped to ninth.
The Thika-based side fell 1-0 to Tusker in their previous fixture, having been held to a goalless draw by bottom-placed APS Bomet the week before.

Speaking after the loss to Tusker, coach Antony Akhulia admitted concern over his side’s failure to score in two consecutive matches.
A win for Bidco will propel them to third place on the log, while a victory for KCB could lift them to 10th.
