Ahead of today's action, Kakamega Homeboyz are still at the summit of the league table with 14 points after seven matches.
The Mozzart Bet-sponsored outfit are one point ahead of 21-time record league champions Gor Mahia, who have just a point better than their perennial rivals AFC Leopards in third.
At the other end of the table, league newbies APS Bomet are rooted with just three points from four matches, and are joined in the relegation bracket by military side Ulinzi Stars and Kariobangi Sharks, all of whom have six points.
The biggest match of the day will take place at the Awendo Green Stadium as Mara Sugar welcome high-flying AFC Leopards.
After a poor start to the season that saw Ingwe collect three points from three matches, the 1998 champions have turned fortunes, and won their last three league matches that have catapulted them to the third position.

Should the Fred Ambani-coached side secure a win at Awendo, they will move to the summit of the league table.
For the Sugar Millers, they will be keen to exploit their home advantage as they seek to secure their first home win of the season.
Mara have won just one of their six league matches, which came away to Ulinzi Stars.
The Trans Mara-based outfit have drawn four times including their last three matches, and a win against Ingwe would not only potentially move them to seventh, but also end Leopards’ unbeaten run.
In the other match of the day, league newbies Nairobi United will continue with their pursuit of the league title when they host limping Kariobangi Sharks at the Dandora Stadium from 1500 hrs.
The Nicholas Muyoti-coached side will be out to seek consistency by winning back-to-back games for the first time this season.

Naibois are currently seventh on the league standings with nine points, five less than Homeboyz but with two games in hand.
Sharks, on the other hand, have had a slow start to the season that has seen them win only one of their first seven league matches.
William Muluya will be determined to guide his charges to secure a win that would end their three-match winless run.
