Defending champions Kenya Police will face Kenyan giants Tusker, while 12-time league champions AFC Leopards will face Murang'a Seal.

Ahead of today's games, Gor Mahia are still at the summit of the league table with 16 points, a point above Kakamega Homeboyz, who lost to Mathare on Saturday and blew a chance to go top.

Posta Rangers are third with 13 points.

APS Bomet are at the bottom of the table with four points and are joined in the relegation zone by Ulinzi Stars and Kariobangi Sharks.

Tusker FC vs Kenya Police

The highlight of the day will be the match between league defending champions Kenya Police and 12-time league champions Tusker at the St. Sebastian Park in Murang'a from 1500 hrs.

Tusker head into the match on the back of a 1-0 victory over Bidco United and will be keen to carry the momentum into today's match and grab what would be an important win in their quest for the 13th title.

The hero of that match, Dennis Oalo, believes the team is ready and has what it takes to emerge victorious.

I believe we have now gelled as a team, which was our main undoing at the start of the season. The win and a week to rest and prepare will also help us to give our best in the match,” Oalo told the club's media team.

The law enforcers, on the other hand, were humbled by a 2-0 defeat to 21-time record champions Gor and are aiming to get back to winning ways and keep pace with the leading pack.

A win for Tusker will take them up to second on the log while Police will move to eighth if they secure three points.

AFC Leopards vs Murang'a Seal

Kenyan giants AFC Leopards will welcome Murang'a Seal at the Nyayo National Stadium from 1600 hrs as they seek to overcome the shocking 2-0 defeat suffered against Mara Sugar.

Ingwe, who had started the season with three draws, was on a three-match winning streak that was not only halted but also saw their unbeaten start brought to an end.

Seal on their part drew with Kakamega Homeboyz and will now be angling for their third win of the season at the expense of Leopards.

A win for the 1998 champions will take them to second place, while Seal, who are 15th on the log, would move to ninth.
