
FC Talanta dominate NSL nominations for end of season awards

The Ken Kenyatta coached side were crowned the 2020/2021 National Super League champions
2020/2021 National Super League (NSL) champions FC Talanta have dominated the list of the end of season awards set to be handed on Wednesday 15 September after the conclusion of the league campaign.
Upon winning the NSL title after garnering 72 points, the Ken Kenyatta-coached side earned automatic promotion to the top flight Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) alongside Vihiga Bullets who also earned direct promotion after finishing in second place on 64 points.

Among the categories where the team has earned a nomination include the Team of the Year, Most Valuable Player, Coach of the Year, Golden Glove Award, Midfielder of the Year and Defender of the Year awards.
Overall, there will be a total of 12 categories to be awarded. They include: Most Valuable Player, Team Fair Play award, Coach of the Year, Young Player of the year, Golden Glove (Best Goalkeeper), Defender of the year, the Best Midfielder, the Golden Boot winner (Top Scorer) and Team of the year.
The Awards Gala will be held at the Nairobi Serena Hotel.
