Gor Mahia fans have been wondering and questioning the whereabouts of their new signing, Ugandan striker Mohamed Shaban Jagason.
The forward has not been spotted in training, friendly matches, and was absent in the opening game of the season against Bidco United on Sunday, where the record league winners lost 1-0.
Jagason was signed from Libyan side Al Anwar just days before the transfer window closed.

After a few training sessions, he disappeared, and little has been communicated by the club regarding his situation.
Many argue that he would have been useful in the Bidco game, where Gor lacked sharpness in front of goal and suffered an unexpected defeat to a hastily assembled, inexperienced side.
The move was finalized after club deputy patron Eliud Owalo, together with chairman Ambrose Rachier, in Uganda.
Owalo had emphasized that the club needed to sign strikers to strengthen the squad and contest for the league title, which they lost to Kenya Police FC last season.
Mozzart Sport has been following up on the matter and can now reveal why the Uganda Cranes striker exited the Gor Mahia camp and returned to Uganda.
The issue stems from a dispute over his signing fee with the FKF Premier League giants.
Jagason was reportedly promised USD 30,000 (approximately Ksh 4 million) upon signing his contract, but was shocked when the club offered USD 10,000 (around Ksh 1.3 million), with assurances that the balance would be settled later.
The striker is said to have rejected the offer outright.
“There was a clear agreement before he came to Kenya that the money was to be paid in one installment. That changed when he arrived, as he was only offered a third of the amount with a promise that the rest would be paid later. This had not been discussed earlier, and he felt shortchanged, so he refused the new arrangement and returned to Uganda. Until Gor Mahia fulfills their side of the bargain, he will not return to Kenya,” a source revealed.
A club official, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that the matter is being addressed and expressed optimism that a solution will be reached.
“It is an issue we are working on, trying to find the best solution for both parties. I believe it is only a matter of time before we have a breakthrough. Both sides want the matter resolved, which makes it easier to find common ground,” the official stated.
In the meantime, Gor Mahia will rely on Chris Ochieng, Felix Oluoch, Veron Ombima, and Mark Shaban for goals.
