According to the club, the primary objective of the day is to mobilise funds for the purchase of a modern team bus while also generating financial support to sustain operational costs throughout the new campaign.
Supporters can expect a packed programme, headlined by an international friendly against Tanzanian side Pamba Jiji FC.
The festivities will further include live music, Kisii cultural performances, merchandise sales, raffle draws, interactive fan activities, and exclusive meet-and-greet sessions with players and club legends.
While not officially confirmed, the event is also expected to feature the unveiling of the club’s new signings, a move likely to energise the fanbase ahead of the season opener.
Shabana becomes one of the few FKFPL clubs to introduce a fans’ day, following in the footsteps of reigning league champions Kenya Police FC and AFC Leopards, who pioneered the initiative last year.
Such events are a staple in Tanzania’s football culture, offering an engaging blend of sport and entertainment that deepens the connection between clubs and their supporters.
The Glamour Boys, who secured a fifth-place finish last season, have been active in the transfer market in preparation for the campaign.
Recent acquisitions include defensive midfielder Biron 'Ngolo' Otieno from Kariobangi Sharks, Caleb Omondi from Gor Mahia, Wycliffe Omondi from Nairobi City Stars, and Henry Obino from Murang’a Seal.
The club has also reportedly secured the services of Tusker FC midfielder David Odoyo.
Shabana will begin their FKFPL campaign with a home fixture against newly promoted APS Bomet, a tie that could set the tone for their ambitions in the coming season.
