He will officially join the club on July 1, 2026, after the expiry of his Bayern Munich contract.

Chemwor is expected to feature primarily for Frankfurt’s U21 side as part of the club’s new U21 league structure.

“Sadiki Chemwor is a highly talented player with an excellent football education,” said Hardung in an interview with the club website.

We are firmly convinced that he can continue to develop his potential at Eintracht Frankfurt. His quality, game intelligence and mentality make him a player we believe has a very exciting future.”

Chemwor brings with him a strong developmental background, having spent a decade at Bayern Munich after joining the club from TSV Milbertshofen at the age of eight.

During his time in Bavaria, he rose steadily through the ranks, featuring for both the U17 and U19 teams.

Since the 2023/24 season, the promising wide player has made 55 appearances across Bayern’s youth sides, registering eight goals and 12 assists.

This season alone, he has played 19 matches, scoring twice and providing five assists while gaining experience in top youth competitions, including the DFB Youth League, UEFA Youth League and the DFB Cup.

His performances have also earned him international recognition, with Chemwor winning five caps for Germany at U16 and U17 levels.

In addition to his German involvement, he holds British citizenship, making him eligible to represent England as well.

Eintracht Frankfurt confirmed the signing on a free transfer, securing the teenager’s services as part of their long-term development strategy.

The club believes Chemwor’s technical ability, mentality and strong football foundation position him as one of the most exciting young prospects to watch.

Born in Germany, Chemwor is also eligible for Harambee Stars through his Kenyan father, and he is reportedly one of the players coach Benni McCarthy has been monitoring as he looks to strengthen the national team setup.
