Omalla has been a subject of transfer rumors over the last month since parting ways with Cambodian side Visakha FC in December 2025.
The 24-year-old had attracted interest from Gor Mahia and two other unnamed clubs from North Africa, with the record 21-time champions expected to re-sign him to strengthen their attacking force, but the move collapsed midway.
Naibois are believed to have offered the former Western Stima striker a lucrative offer, the prospect of playing in the CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC), as well as the vision and the project that the team is having.
At Nairobi United, the Kisumu Day alumnus will link up with his younger brother, Dancan Omalla who has been a key figure of the team over the past two seasons, and currently on great form, having scored four goals in the last five league matches.
©AbuPhotozBenson is a tried and tested FKF Premier League striker, with 54 goals to his name; 45 goals for Gor Mahia, and nine for defunct Western Stima FC.
Benson scored 19 goals in the 2023/24 season to clinch the golden boot after coming second in the previous season with 26 goals, one shy of Elvis Rupia who bagged the golden boot.
After winning the golden boot, Omalla left K’Ogalo for Lebanese side Al Safa SC in August 2024, but left two months later, largely due to the then political instability in the country that led to the suspension of the league.
The soft-spoken striker then rejoined Gor Mahia in March 2025, before bringing an end to his third stint at the end of the 2024/25 season to join Visakha.
Benson is expected to enrich the Naibois attack, but will only be used in the league as he is not registered for the CAF CC Group Stage.
However, should the club secure a place in the quarter finals, they will get a window to enlist new players.
