Krkic went further when asked about Ibra's relationship with Guardiola

It has been more than a decade since Zlatan Ibrahimovic left Barcelona, where he played for only two seasons (2009/2010 and 2010/2011). Swedish striker's time at Camp Nou was anything but rainbows and butterflies.

Now, years later, Bojan Krkic commented on that moment, praising Zlatan and arguing that "they did not treat him with due respect." He said it in an interview with La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

"I hope he continues for a couple more seasons. He's a phenomenon. What do I remember of him? The speech he gave me after just arrived in Barcelona comes to mind when I think of him. I was twenty years old, and he was already Zlatan. He didn't know me, so he called me to the dressing room next to him, and he started to give me confidence. 'Don't worry, I'm here'.

"Friends always ask me for a comment or to summarize his personality in one word. I say 'great heart.' And then, well, every training match was a challenge that he had to win at all costs, but you already know that."

Bojan went further when asked about Ibra's relationship with Pep Guardiola:

"No one can speak badly about Ibra. I think he didn't have due respect that year, although he scored some decisive goals. When it came to pushing, he was tough, but his heart was never lacking. He was and will always be an example," Bojan concluded.
