Inter striker celebrated the title with the fans on the streets of Milan
After nine consecutive years, Juventus are no longer Italian champions. Inter Milan overtook the throne as of Sunday, and their best player Romelu Lukaku is all over the place. Powerful Belgian with a Congolese decent was so happy with his first league title, that he decided to celebrate it with the fans on the streets of Milan. He also managed to have a dig at his rival from Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Lukaku acknowledged that season 2020/21 was his best yet.
“I am so happy for all the Inter fans in the world, for the team, the staff, the President and everyone. It was a wonderful year for us, I am truly proud to play for Inter. I wanted to come out here and celebrate along with the people. I told my friend this was the best way to experience it, to be there with the fans. For me and many of my teammates, this is our first league title, so it’s a moment we wanted to share with them. Last year was good too, but yes, this was the best of my career. It’s wonderful and I hope to continue like this. I want to thank everyone, I am truly so happy“ Lukaku told Sky Sport Italia.

Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic teased Romelu Lukaku with an Instagram post after the Rossoneri’s derby in October 2020, when the Swede scored both goals for the win: ‘Milano never had a king, they have a GOD.’
On Sunday, when Inter officially became Serie A champions, Lukaku twitted a post aimed at Ibrahimović: ’The real God has crowned the king. Now, bow down. King of Milan“.
With 21 goals in 33 Serie A games, Lukaku is the leading goalscorer of the Nerazzurri this term and has helped Inter winning the first Scudetto after 11 years. But will he stay in Italy? After his strong performances, more and more reports are moving Belgian goalscorer back to England, but this time to Chelsea. Interesting June is ahead of us.
