Barca wounded both. Who'll heal sooner and better?

Both Real Madrid and Celta suffered heartbreaking defeats to Barcelona in the last two weeks. Today, the two "losers" face each other at Santiago Bernabeu (15.00)

Real Madrid have no room for error. Last night, Barcelona barely survived the visit to Valladolid, coming from behind to beat the already relegated crew from Estadio Jose Zorrilla 2-1. Therefore, Los Blancos must respond today against Celta (15.00), as the gap between them and the Catalans is huge seven points.

Both Madrid and the Vigo side suffered heartbreaking defeats to the Catalans during the last two weeks. Carlo Ancelotti's crew lost the Copa del Rey final 3-2 after Jules Kounde's extra-time winner, while Celta fell in the capital of Catalonia 4-3, only thanks to Raphinha's added-time spot-kick goal.

And that's the biggest warning for the current champions of Spain and Europe. Borja Iglesias bagged a hat-trick against Blaugrana, while the super-experienced Iago Aspas is always a threat. After all, Celta nearly knocked out Madrid from the Cup, losing the game only after extra time.

Yet, Ancelotti will be forced to face the visitors' dangerous attacking line with a makeshift defence without David Alaba, Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy, and Antonio Rudiger. At the same time, Eduardo Camavinga, who could have served as an alternative, is also injured.

Hence, the four players in front of Thibaut Courtois will be Fran Garcia, Aurelien Tchouameni, Raul Asencio, and the captain Lucas Vazquez. Carletto will also be deprived of Rodrygo's help (illness), so Arda Guler is expected to take the Brazilian's place in the attack alongside Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe.
