The forward's three goals ensured Nzoia picked their first win of the season

Nzoia Sugar FC forward Levis Okello became only the second player to bag a hattrick in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) this season and was delighted to achieve the outstanding feat.

The former Chemelil Sugar forward plundered three goals in the 3-1 win over Kariobangi Sharks on Saturday to earn Nzoia Sugar their first victory of the season.

Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Barasa revealed that he was delighted to open his account in the top flight having had little experience in the top flight.

“Words can’t explain how I feel but I’m very happy, the goals give me motivation because I have not played in the Premier League that much. I remember playing only one game for Chemelil back in 2018 against Mathare United and from then I joined Vihiga Bullets,” said Barasa.

The Millers were struggling for goals upfront as they came into the Sharks match having only scored three goals and have struggled to replace Hillary Simiyu

Okello is looking to deliver more goals for Nzoia Sugar having stayed without a team since leaving Bullets in January as he looks to make up for lost time.

“I promise to deliver more goals in the coming games because this has been the chance I have been waiting for all my life,” added Barasa.
